Spanish Language Instruction
Spanish at Jefferson is offered to all students as the language requirement of the International Baccalaureate Program. As stated in the PYP document Making it Happen, "A PYP school provides the opportunity for all students to learn more than one language. Exposure to and experience with language, in all its richness and diversity, opens doors to key questions about life and learning, and encourages students to develop responsible attitudes and find appropriate ways to take action, in order to make a difference in the world." PYP Spanish fosters the development of courageous, open-minded, communicative thinkers.
